Aug. 2st-44

To who it may concorn.

in regards of Mr. Thomas W. Doppner.

i dont have and record in my Court.as far as i can find out he is a good citizen.and honest in ever way. I can't say that I am persneal aquainted with Mr. Doeppner. but from good people that knowes him he must be all right.

Respectfully Yours.

John Holloway

Chief of Police

Well. That was fast, and maybe a little too fast. I don't want to be rude, but wow, this person could have used spell-check. And capitalization. And spaces. And a number of other grammatical helpers.

I imagine the Chief of Police did not need to be an excellent writer in order to do their job well. I hope the lack of professionalism on paper did not hurt Opa's visa application.
